GloriaFood is shutting down on April 30, 2027. Here's what to do now.

· By Ser.vi News

Based on the GloriaFood homepage notice.

GloriaFood, an online ordering service for restaurants, "will reach end of life on April 30, 2027," according to a notice on its homepage. As of Oct. 18, 2026, restaurants that use it have a little over six months to move every ordering channel to another system.

What to do now

  1. List everything GloriaFood does for you. Include your website ordering button, every place your ordering link appears, table QR codes (the square codes guests scan), reservations, promotions and paid add-ons.
  2. Save your data. The notice doesn't say what you can export. Check your dashboard for menu, customer and order history exports. Download what you can while the service runs.
  3. Pick your timing. Avoid your busiest season. If you can, run the new system next to GloriaFood for a week or two before you turn GloriaFood off.
  4. Compare replacements on the same questions. What does each order cost, and who pays it? Is there a monthly fee or a contract? What hardware do you need? Does it cover your list from step 1? Who moves your menu, and how long does setup take?
  5. Swap every link and QR code. Then place a test order from each one.

Background

GloriaFood offers website ordering, scheduled orders, QR code ordering, table reservations with deposits, and promotions, according to its homepage. It also sells paid add-ons: a POS system, a website, a branded app, online payments with digital tipping, and automated email marketing.

Restaurants can place GloriaFood's ordering link on Google Business Profile, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, the homepage says. Each of those spots needs a new link before the shutdown.

Oracle owns GloriaFood, according to the copyright line on its homepage. "We remain committed to supporting existing customers through this date," the notice says. It also says Oracle "does not offer a direct replacement for GloriaFood products and services."

The notice adds that Oracle "would like to make you aware of FoodAmigos," which it calls "a restaurant technology provider that offers online ordering and related solutions." It says FoodAmigos "offers onboarding resources" for GloriaFood customers who move. The notice doesn't say whether Oracle reviewed FoodAmigos or has a business arrangement with it.
