Ser.vi News

Corrections policy

We fix errors promptly.

Corrections

When we get a fact wrong, we correct the story and add a dated note that says what changed. If the error changed what the story means, such as a wrong price or a wrong date, the note goes at the top. Smaller corrections go at the bottom. For example:

Correction, Oct. 9, 2026: An earlier version said X. It is Y.

Updates

When we add new information, such as a company announcing new prices or a deal closing, we label it as an update with the date. For example:

Updated Oct. 9, 2026, with new pricing from the company's site.

What we don't do

We don't silently change a fact, price or quote. We fix spelling and typing errors without a note.

How to report an error

Email [email protected]. Please include the link to the story and tell us what you think is wrong. If you have a source that shows the correct information, include that too.
